Scotland is fast becoming a leader in the space industry, with Glasgow building more satellites than any other European city in the last 2 years. After a successful inaugural conference in 2017, Data.Space needed a brand refresh to solidify it as the leading conference of its kind.
One of the core aims of Data.Space is to promote the benefits of new space technology and the useful data it can provide – this required a modern, bold and dynamic visual identity.
As well as developing the 2018 logo and brand assets, I also produced a range of merchandise for the conference and other printed materials such as a sponsorship document, conference guide and badges. Designed while at Freight.
I also designed the responsive Data.Space website, which can be viewed at, and worked with the developer to ensure it was effective across all devices and properly adhered to the new brand guidelines. In addition to this, I created a range of infographics to help promote the event, assets for the event’s social media profiles and MailChimp email templates.
